T3 Lacrosse is extremely excited to welcome back Tatum Coffey to our coaching staff for the 2019-2020 year. Coffey is an alumna from the T3 Shore 2011 squad. After Coffey finished an impressive High School career with 517 points and with honors including Lacrosse Magazine’s Top Performer of 2011, 2X First Team All-American, 2x Academic All-American, 2x First Team All-State and 2x Shore Conference Player of the Year, she took her talents to Penn State.
At Penn State Coffey started her career as the only freshman in the nation to be named to an IWLCA All-America team (third team). She earned IWLCA All-West/Midwest First Team and All-ALC Second Team honors, as well as many player of the week honors. In the coming years she was named CoSIDA Academic All-American and was placed on the Tewaarton watch list. Coffey concluded her senior year making IWLCA All-Region First Team and IWLCA All-American Third Team. Coffey was a large contributor in Penn State’s first ever Big Ten win. She received All-Big Ten Team and Big Ten All-Tournament Team honors.
Outside of college lacrosse, Coffey helped lead the U.S. National U19 Team to a gold medal at the 2011 FIL U19 World Championships and was named player of the match in the gold medal game. She also trained with the USA Women’s Senior Team for two years. Coffey also played for the Long Island Sound in the inaugural season of the United Women’s Lacrosse League in 2016 and won the first ever championship with the Sound.
Coffey brings a wealth of experience and skill to the T3 Family. Welcome to the team!
